Shawnee, Sept 4. - Burial of Mrs. Mary Ellen Newton,Tribbey pioneer, who died Wednesday at her home, will be held this week at the Morrel cemetery.
Mrs. Newton had lived in the Tribbey neighborhood since 1899 and had been a member of the Church of God there since 1900.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Flora Smith, seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roesch Brothers are in charge. Time of service has not been set.
