Emery Neely, 89, Route 3, Brookfield, died Wednesday afternoon at Pershing Hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. the following Saturday at the Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth G. Kelley, of Kirksville. Burial was in the New Garden Cemetery.
Mr. Neely was born near Milan, May 26, 1881, the son of Norman B. and Henrietta Cassity Neely.
He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Elfie Mccoy and Mrs. Addie Gatlin, Kansas City; Mrs. Nellie Owen, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Eunice Freeman and Mrs. Edith McCoy, Marysville, Calif.; and a brother, Ray Neely, Linneus.
