Born in Hillside, N.J., the loving daughter of the late Warren L. and Mary Margaret (McAndrew) Mengel, she and her husband and family lived in Bloomfield before becoming residence of West Orange more than 58 years ago.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Nicholas E. Macioci (Nick Massi); dear sister of the late John and the late Leo Mengel.
She was known by her mother and father as "Margaret Ann" but to her husband's family and friends she was known as "Margie".
Margie was the dear sister-in-law of Albert Cicetti and the late Sylvia Cicetti. She was the grandmother of three and great-grandmother of three, with another great-granddaughter arriving in January. She is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family, Lena Maloney, Patty Mengel Finnerty and her husband, John, and the Zerring Family.
Margie was a hard worker and held a number of jobs over the course of her life. The last being Burrells Advertising in Livingston, N.J
Margie enjoyed the beach and ocean at Long Beach Island (L.B.I.) and cherished spending time with friends and family at Beach Heaven West, her second home away from home since 1963.
She and her husband, Nick loved listening to music especially "The 4 Seasons" and Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed going to theater to see a show, but her favorites "Jersey Boys" and Lion King. In her leisure time she found joy watching game shows, in particular the Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right and Cowboy Shows, and loved to read anything by her favorite author Danielle Steel.
Margie cherished her children, Bobby, Patty and Nicky, they were her world, and she will be deeply missed by them.
