He was born Sept. 10, 1909, in Mansfield and lived here all of his life. Mr. Russell was a retired 47 year employee of the Ohio Edison Co. He was a member of VFW Post 4493 and Royal Order of Moose. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Jane Brubach Russell, two daughters, Mrs. Randell (Gail) Scheifer of Tiro, and Mrs. George (Kathleen) Reece of Mansfield, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, one sister, Mrs. Hazel DeVore of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and one brother, George W. of Mansfield.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours.
