Jan Eric Mann of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. Jan was born July 14, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 72 years old.

Jan was born to WB and Eunice Mann in Fort Worth, Texas on July 14, 1949. He was a graduate of Haltom High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Texas Wesleyan and a Master's degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary.

In high school he reconnected with a childhood friend, who became the love of his life, Barbara Jean. Together they spent over 52 years in marriage, raised a daughter, Jennifer, and have two precious granddaughters, Katelyn and Allison.

Jan loved his family and loved his friends. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and exploring. He also loved music and was exceptionally talented in playing several instruments. Most of all, he loved the Lord and had a very strong faith.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean, his daughter, Jennifer Canizares, son-in-law, Mario Canizares, and granddaughters, Katelyn and Allison Canizares, his brother and sister-in-law Pete and Terrie Mann, his sister and brother-in-law Karen and Joe Pike, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Suzy White, brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Lora White, and brother-in-law Steve White and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, WB and Eunice Mann, his father and mother-in-law, CR and Alice White, and his brother-in-law Wayne White.

A memorial service for Jan will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at North Richland Hills Baptist Church, 6925 Blvd 26, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
