At a young age Anne moved to Manhattan, KS. Where she lived for many years, along with stops in California, Oklahoma, and finally settling in Topeka, KS. She mostly was a stay-at-home wife and mother but worked a few different jobs including a few different positions at Walmart until she retired. But her favorite job and career was raising her two boys.
Growing up Anne enjoyed the outdoors as much as possible, with one of her favorite activities being swimming. As she got a little older, she was an avid bowler and loved doing that for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking as well, even if she was not the best at it. It never stopped her from trying new recipes and blaming the oven/stove (no matter how many times she moved) if it didn't turn out well.
Anne was a very kind generous person. If she knew someone needed something and she could help, she would always do without to make sure the person was ok, especially her two boys. She had a very dry sense of humor but loved to always make jokes, even in her last few days she was making jokes. She will be missed by many as she was loved by more than she truly realized.
She is survived by her sons, 2 grandchildren, and sister. Anne is preceded in death by both parents, and two brothers.
At Anne's request there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family asks that if you want to honor her in some way, try to cook/bake a new recipe and if it doesn't turn out right……. blame the stove/oven.
