Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Bittaker; son, Michael Owen Sorenson; grandchildren, Melynda Barrett, Wendy (Paul) Waddell, Amanda Bittaker, Denise Cavender, Lawson Bittaker, Becky (Rusty) Dabbs, and Juliann (Martin) Benes; many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
