Mrs. Evelyn Ogletree Bradley Hamilton, 83, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at The Laurels of Salisbury.
Born May 11, 1926 in Augusta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John William Ogletree and Mamie Forshee Ogletree.
Mrs. Hamilton worked at Peelers BBQ for 16 ½ years, where she made many friends, and after her retirement, she sold Avon for 21 years. Mrs. Hamilton will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Robert Lee Hamilton, who passed away March 1, 1993.
Those left to cherish her memory: five sons, Ronnie Bradley (Jean), of Salisbury, Bill Bradley (Paula), of Landis, Kenny Bradley (Elaine), of Rockwell, Walter Bradley (Jeanette), of Macon, GA, and Allen Bradley (Sandra), of Salisbury; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a special grandson, Josh Earnhardt.
The service honoring Mrs. Hamilton's life will be held Tuesday, July 7th, at 11:00 AM at Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM on Tuesday at Summersett Funeral Home.
