Virginia Lee Rafool, 78, formerly of Peoria, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, at Tacoma Lutheran Nursing Home in Tacoma, Wash., where she was a resident.
Born Sept. 1, 1924, in Bowen to Dana and Edith Meyers Ferguson, she married Dr. Francis P. Rafool on May 13, 1944, in Chicago. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Colborn, and one brother.
She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria.
She also was a former member of the Peoria Garden Club, Peoria Area Color Shooters Camera Club and the Photographic Society of America, where she achieved the highest membership level and served as the international secretary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home in Quincy, where family will receive friends one hour before. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, IL.
