Janelle Elizabeth Putman Diffenderfer December 16, 1929 ~ November 1, 2022 (age 92)

Janelle Elizabeth Putman Diffenderfer, 92, of Blacksburg, S.C. passed away Tuesday, November 1st.

She was married to the late Leo E. Diffenderfer and daughter of the late Thomas and Sudie Putnam.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Connie Swofford (Nelson) of Greenville, S.C. and a son Roger Diffenderfer (Lisa) of Blacksburg, S.C. Also 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Leo, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Diffenderfer, 3 brothers Bill, Gene, and Lee Putnam and 4 sisters Elsie Ross, Alie Andrews, Flora Martin and Catherine Hardin.

She was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and worked at Hamrick's in quality control. She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the organ and cooking,

A Graveside Service with the Rev. Reagan Keith officiating will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, with a Gathering of Friends & Family following.
