Mattie Dell Shelton, 91, of Hooks, died Saturday, June 30, 2007. Graveside services were held July 3 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana.
She lived most of her life in Bowie County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Alvin J. Shelton, in 2001.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Alvarie and Joe Aultman of Hooks and Doris Jean and Ronald Eddleman of Graham; four grandsons, Ron Aultman of McKinney, Tim Aultman of Craig, Colo., Jim Bob Eddleman of Graham and Don Ed Eddleman of Santa Anna; three great-grandsons, Ryan Aultman of McKinney, Andrew Aultman of Craig and Will Eddleman of Santa Anna; and a number of nieces and nephews.
