Kathleen Margaret Dicks Wood was born on the family farm in southern Columbia County. She graduated from Mason School in 1954 and married her childhood sweetheart, David Gerald Wood, in 1956. They enjoyed 64 blessed years or marriage. She had worked as a hair stylist, seamstress, and sewing factory supervisor. She volunteered with Haven Hospice for nine years.
She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She was an excellent seamstress and made a plethora of clothes and costumes for her family. Kathleen was an incredible cook and loved to make people smile when she shared her baked treats. She served the Lord in many capacities…nursery, children's ministry, youth ministry, and cooking all truly focused on loving God by loving others.
In addition to her parents, Edgar Julian Dicks and Fannie Rogers Dicks, she is predeceased by brothers Cledas and Clifford Dicks, sister Geneva Dicks, and great-grandson Wyatt Lang Miller.
