The Rev. Lonnie Jones, 41, 311 Village South, Eaton, died Saturday evening at Grandview Hospital in Dayton after a long illness. He was a native of Oklahoma and had attended the Hamilton Branch of Miami University. He was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Faith Winkler Jones; one daughter, Sandra Lynn Jones, and two sons, Lonnie Wayne and James Daniel, all at home; and one brother, Virgil of Cincinnati.
Funeral services were Monday at the Evangel Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Bob Bailey and the Rev. William P. Means officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton. Barnes Funeral Home – Eaton Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
