Age 85, of Hale, MI passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on August 27, 1936 in Clio, MI to the late Richard Nelson and Cecyl Marjorie (Hoyt) Pearson. John married the love of his life, Janet Ruth Zirzow on February 6, 1987. He worked for Jefferson Trucking out of National City, MI until his retirement. John enjoyed woodworking and working in his garden. He had a love for life that could be seen through his eyes, smile and the way that he loved and cared for his family. John is survived by his loving wife, Janet Pearson; step-sons, Jon (Katie) Taylor and Bryan (Carrie) Taylor; sister-in-law, Betty Pearson; grandchildren, Nick, Alex, Jack and Eleanore Taylor and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings.
