Mrs. Edna Marie Greer Gray, 47, well-known Episcopal Church worker and clubwoman, died after a lingering illness Thursday at 8:10 p.m., at her residence, 669-11th Ave.
Mrs. Gray was the wife of Brandt P. Gray, chief photographer for The Salt Lake Tribune.
She was born July 16, 1910, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Joseph Bailey and Jane Ritchie Greer. Mrs. Gray was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church for many years, and recently had been a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Her church work included membership in St. Martha's and St. Monica's Guilds, adviser to the youth group at St. Paul's four years and Sunday School teacher for a number of years.
Mrs. Gray was a charter member of the John F. Critchlow Chapter, United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary. For several years she was a den mother for a troop of Cub Scouts.
She was married to Brandt P. Gray on March 2, 1938, in Salt Lake City.
Survivors include her husband; two sons: Nicky Gray and Gary R. Miller, son by a former marriage; three sisters: Mrs. Leslie H. Walling, Williston, N.D.; Mrs. Fred Mickelsen, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Fred J. G. Kepler, Sonoma, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Joseph B. Greer, Salt Lake City, and a granddaughter, Cindy Miller, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Marie Greer Gray, 47, well-known Episcopal Church worker, will be conducted Monday noon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 261-9th East.
Mrs. Gray, wife of Brandt P. Gray, chief photographer for The Salt Lake Tribune, died after a lingering illness Thursday at her residence.
Friends may call at 574 E. 1st South, Sunday evening and Monday until 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum.
