Born September 21, 1928, in Jackson, Ml. She was the daughter of Sylvia (Paul) Reynolds and Carl Reynolds. Marjorie married Arthur R. Cook on January 13, 1946, in Angola, IN and had 6 children.
She lived in the DeKalb community since 1962, moving from Michigan. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in DeKalb. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles and knitting.
Survivors include her daughters, a son, 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur R. Cook; daughter, Janet E. Mershon; brothers, Robert Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, Lester Reynolds, Lyle Reynolds; and sister, Doris Dicker-son; and granddaughters, Stacey Taylor and an infant, Malina.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL with Pastor Joseph Gastiger officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
