United States Marine Corps Major. He was classified as Missing In Action after the aircraft he was aboard went down in North Vietnam. His remains were not recovered and he is Presumed Killed In Action.
Maj. Boggs is also memorialize in Cenotaph at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego California. His rank was listed as "Captain" but was promoted to Major during his MIA status. His home of Record: East Point, Ga.
