OBITUARY - The Parkersburg News dated Saturday, April 3, 1965
CARL BRAHAM
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Leavitt funeral home for Carl Braham, 61, 506 Summers St., who died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Wood County, November 4, 1903, a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Bonnett Braham, and was employed by the American Viscose Corp. for the past 36 years. He was a member of the TWUA Local 9, and the Lauckport Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy Agnes Braham; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Fox, Parkersburg, Mrs. Eileen Dye, Lubeck and Mrs. Barbara Johnson of Dutch Ridge; and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs Iva Hovanee, Hollywood, Fla., Mrs Garnet Wilcox, New York City, and Mrs Lulu McConaha (sp) of Belpre.
The Rev. J.R. Gillespie will officiate with burial in the IOOF cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
