Mr. Floyd passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean Floyd of Woodland; one son, Benny Floyd of Woodland; two grandchildren, Nicole Wiggins (Paul) and Chelsey Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Eli Wiggins, Gage Wiggins, Brayden Johnson, and Hydeigh Johnson; one sister, Mary Jane Holloway (Buddy) of Woodland; and one brother, John Z. Floyd (Sue) of Peachtree City, GA.
Pallbearers will be Scott Floyd, John Floyd, Wes Woodard, Chris Nolen, William Davenport, and Jimmy Pope.
A Woodland native, Mr. Floyd was born on December 1, 1941, the son of James Lewis and Francis Noles Floyd. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and retired as a superintendent for the Randolph County Commission. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kenny Zac Floyd.
