Lennie was born on January 9, 1917 in Galena, Kansas to the union of Bert Baker and Flossie (McGinnis) Baker. Lennie attended school in Galena, Kansas through the 8th grade; she later worked as a homemaker and was employed by Doane's for 19 years.
Lennie and Ralph Ray Price were united in marriage in 1934; he preceded her in death in 1980. Her parents and four sisters, Elvada Millsap, Nadine Barnett Hill, Nina Shields and Irene Price also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Price of Grove, Oklahoma; three daughters, Norma Culver of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Linda McQuillan and husband Charles of Baxter Springs, Kansas; Lorna Martin and husband Joe of Hays, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; 18 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel in Baxter Springs, Kansas with Rev. Steve Dyer officiating. Internment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Galena, Kansas.
