Mrs. Edna Carpenter Lane, 68 wife of G.J. Lane, died at 8:30am Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Grenada County Hospital. Services were held Thursday at 2:00pm at Rosebloom Church of the Nazarene near Grenada. Burial was in Smith Cemetry near the church with National Funeral Home of Grenada in charge.
She leaves two sons, George Lane and Henry Lane, both of Grenada: a daughter Mrs. W.H. Arendale of Whitehaven; and a sister Mrs. Ira Carpenter.
