He is survived by his son, Jason Vanderpool; daughters, Jodi Ford, Patricia Cochran, and Paula Kinney; as well as sisters, Sue Corman, Barbara Deering, Connie Thacker, Peggy Blevins, and Melissa Peel; and four grandchildren. He is preceded by one daughter, Pamela McKinney, and two sisters, Wilma Bishop, and Shirley Blankenship.
