Franklin Wolf died at the home of his brother-in-law, Elder Leonard J. Flohr, Thurmont, Maryland, Tuesday morning, following an illness of two weeks. He was 79 years of age.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Sanford Trimmer, Miss Arbutus Wolf of York; Mrs. Lucy Brown and Mrs. Russell Poole of New Cumberland; Mrs. Joseph Shatto of Carlisle; Miss Anna Wolf of Thurmont; John and Paul Wolf of Greencastle; Ralph Wolf of Chambersburg; and Harry Wolf of Waynesboro; two brothers: Jacob and Harry of Hammond, Louisianna and thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services from his late residence in Thurmont at 9 a.m. Friday, with services at the Methodist church, Fountain Dale, at 10 a.m., the Rev. Charles Stover officiating, assisted by Elders John S. Weybright and Elmer Schildt. Interment in the Fountain Dale cemetery.

The deceased has been a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren, connected for a number of years with the Monocacy congregation of denomination at Rocky Ridge, Maryland.
