Gunnery Sergeant Daniel Austin Badeaux, 62 of Little Rock, AR walked with God's angels into the comfort of his loving arms on October 24, 2022. Daniel was born to Theobald & Melba (Creech) Badeaux in Santa Rosa, CA on September 24, 1960. The youngest of 11 brothers and sisters. Daniel was raised in Gurdon, AR. At the age 12 he moved with his family to Fort Smith, AR. He attended Southside High School class of 1979. Throughout his 4yrs of High School he participated in sports and was a very proud JROTC cadet.

After high school Daniel joined the US Marines and served our country for 20 years, he was a Gulf War Veteran and volunteered in several humanitarian unions, earning many military awards and decorations. He then made a second career as a commercial truck driver, owner operator.

Daniel and Marcy met in June of 1994 at Chavez Ravine, home of the LA Dodgers. They married June 15, 2002. Daniel enjoyed playing softball throughout his military career and after. He was a hardcore sports fan, and a professional couch potato. Daniel loved participating in his girls many extracurricular activities, short weekend vacations to Laughlin, NV, Jet Skiing and slot machines.

Daniel is survived by his Spouse, Marcy Badeaux residing in Little Rock, AR. two Daughters; SteviCrocker and a son-in-law, Bryant Crocker two grandchildren, Remington and Hazel Mae Crocker in SantaBarbara, Ca. Jordan Weikle, fiancé Eugene Hartman, three grandchildren, Kreslee, Kinlee and Brantlee Weikle living in Wichita, KS. Six sisters, Faye Scott from Hot Springs, AR. Melba Ann Baumgardner from Gurdon, AR. Teresa Higginbotham, husband Doug from Friendship, AR. Laney Simon from Mountain Home, AR. Judy Lowrance, husband T.R. from Cedarville, AR. Sarah Badeaux Dickey from Gurdon, AR. Two brothers, Douglas A. Badeaux and wife Terry from Spokane, WA. Don A. Badeaux from Lavaca, AR. Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service for Daniel will be November 2, 2022 At National Cemetery Fort Smith at 2 pm.
