Regina "Gina" Gasparato Rosky, 96, of Jeannette, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 12, 1926, in Arnold, PA, a daughter of the late Angelo and Louise Brentegani Gasparato.
She was a 1944 graduate of Jeannette High School and a lifetime member of the Ascension Church Jeannette where she taught CCD and RICA for many years, along with working all the spaghetti dinners and Italian Festivals. In addition, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels, the Jeannette Historical Society, and Friends of Jeannette Library.
Gina was an excellent seamstress, lover of nature and wildlife, especially birds. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and playing cards.
In addition to her parents Regina was predeceased by her husband Stanley "Porky" Rosky in 1993; her daughter Patti Brissel; sisters, Clara Sartori, Janet Lawson, and Vicky August; brothers, Dominick and John Gasparato; nephews Nick and Mark Gasparato; and a great nephew Michael Gasparato.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Brandy Petrill and husband Dan, and Vicky Vinkler and husband Rich; a great grandson AJ Vinkler; and is "Aunt Gina" to 16 nieces and nephews, and 44 great, and great great nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
