Christopher Albert Mueller (Chris) passed away peacefully on April 24th at the age of 62 while at Cadia Healthcare in Annapolis Maryland. He had been a longtime beloved resident at the Shenandoah Commons Apartments in Front Royal, Virginia.

He was born on April 5th, 1960 in Ottawa, Illinois to Norman and Gladys Mueller.

Chris is survived by his father Norman Mueller, his brothers Raymond and David Mueller, his sister Lisa Caito (Michael), his nephews Brandon and Ryan Mueller, Jeremy Caito, and his niece Jacqueline Haynie (Taylor), and grand-nephews Michael and Nicholas Haynie. He is preceded in death by his mother Gladys Mueller.

Chris graduated from James W. Robinson High School in 1978. He continued his education at the Culinary Institute of Washington. Due to many health issues in his life, he later went onto continue his education at Northern Virginia Community College where he became a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. In 2003 he became a Customer Service Supervisor at Walmart in Front Royal, Virginia, where he made a lot of long-lasting friendships till the end of his life.

Chris had a great love for music, enjoyed going to concerts, especially if it was his favorite Jimmy Buffet. He never missed an opportunity to go see him perform! He was also a die-hard Capital Hockey fan, Redskins fan, Baltimore Orioles fan, as well as a Nascar and Basketball fan.

Throughout the last 30 years of Chris' life, he suffered many serious health issues. No matter what he faced, he always continued to maintain his dignity and independence.

A Celebration of Life and Service to follow will be held on Friday, May 13th at 9:00am at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home at 9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032.
