Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda (Eason) Van Zyl were held Wed., June 24 at the United Presbyterian Church of Alton, at 1:30 p. m. Mrs. Van Zyl lived in Alton until she married the Rev. Bart Van Zyl of Holland, Neb., in 1930. She was born March 11, 1896, and died in a Sioux City hospital June 22. Her death came after a short illness of terminal cancer. A memorial fund, in lieu of flowers is being established in her name.
