MARY KATHRYN GARRETT, age 86, of Eaton, Ohio died Thursday, June 7, 2001 at The Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on December 22, 1914 in Gasper Twp., Preble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herman Barton & Augusta Emelia (Augspurger) Potterf. She lived in Preble County all her life on a farm in Gasper Twp. near Potterf's Corner until moving to Greenbriar in 1999. She was a 1931 Eaton High School graduate, attended Miami University, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Farm Bureau Advisory Council #4 for over 60 years, St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton for over 55 years and Preble County Historical Society.

Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 11, 2001 from 12 - 2 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
