DOROTHY MARIE DAVIS, age 93, formerly of McCabe Street Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday morning, January 1, 2000 after a brief illness at VanCrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio where she had been a resident since September 1999. Born on June 16, 1906 in Dixon Township, Preble County, Ohio she was the Daughter of the late Simeon Franklin & Ada Ardella Davisson House. She has lived in Preble County all of her life and attended the Wares Chapel. Preceded in death by her husband: Paul E. Davis in 1972; Brother: Everett House and 3 Grandchildren: Constance Louise Davis in 1958, Dean Allen Davis in 1961 and Anthony G. Davis in 1990.
Survivors: Two Sons: Robert F. Davis, Sr. of Eldorado, Ohio and Gerald A. Davis of Eaton, Ohio; Daughter: Linda Van Skiver of Eaton, Ohio. Several Nieces & Nephews; 8 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, January, 5, 2000 - 10:30 A.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Bryan Rea officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 4, 2000 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
