RED BAY Bular Jennie Lee Parrish, 96, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at the Care Center of Red Bay. She was a native of Franklin County, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Herman Parrish; four sons, and one daughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with the Rev. Gillie Parrish and the Rev. Tom Scott officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennie Barker of Red Bay; two sons, Franklin Parrish of Crossville, Tenn., and Lorenzo Parrish of Tremont; three sisters, Elvie Rollins and Beatrice Creekmore, both of Red Bay and Virginia Parker of Kenosha, Wisc.; 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time today.
