Mr. Boyette was born on November 1, 1954, in Cairo, GA, to the late Casey G. Boyette and Ethel Bell Boyette. On August 20, 1993, he married Susan Glover, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2013. He was a worker – he began mowing yards in his teens and later was his father's right- hand man at Boyette Oil on Highway 84 in Cairo. At the time of his passing, he was employed at Smith Electric Motor Service where he was a leader in the Air Compressor Department for more than 25 years. He had a heart of gold and a love of family to match. He was a wonderful cook and was famous for his Christmas fudge. He was a Christian and was a member of Family Worship Center in Cairo.
Survivors include: two sons and a daughter in law of Aurora, CO and Cairo, GA; three daughters and their husbands of Thomasville, GA, Cairo, GA, and St. Augustine, FL; 7 grandchildren of Thomasville, GA, Cairo, GA, and Thomasville, GA; two sisters and a brother in law of Cairo, GA and Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; and a granddaughter, Kaydence Sellars.
