Former Lansing resident Clarence J. Parr, age 69, died December 23, 1980. Mr. Parr was born June 16, 1911 in Ionia. He was a former Fisher Body employee. He moved from Lansing to Traverse City in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Faye; two daughters, Joan Haley of traverse City and Carol Beckner of Lansing; brother Cecil Parr of Lansing; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held later. The family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
