Earl Andrew Cooper was born in Kentucky. He was a very good, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He moved to California and owned a gas station for a number of years. 'Pete' (his nickname) was a great mechanic, carpenter, and handyman. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, and golf along with other pursuits. He was the father of Earl and Kenneth Cooper; the marriage with their mother failed and he later married Mabel Boudreau Lamarche. It was the second marriage for both of these individuals and turned out to be a very happy one. He also was a step-father to Mabel's daughter Barbara. After a number of years in California 'Pete' and Mabel moved to Grants Pass, Oregon and enjoyed their retirement years there. On April 25th Pete suffered a fatal heart attack while he was enjoying his favorite pasttime- watching a baseball game. It is how he would probably have chosen to go.
