Susan (Susie) Elaine Davidson, age 65, of New Vienna passed away peacefully Thursday October 20th, 2022, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She retired from New Sabina Industries; she also worked at Irwin Tools, Crysteco, and Randall Textron. Susie was born September 12, 1957, to Delbert (Turk) Floyd Davidson and Ruth Ann (Pennington) Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sherri Lynn Davidson and Barbara Jean Davidson, and a brother James (Satch) Alan Davidson. Susie is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Richard) Crum; grandchildren Melissa Billman, Kaylee (Robert) Miller, and Megan (Luke Middleton) Crum; great-grandchildren Mira Delacerda, Karter Delacerda, and Wade Miller; and siblings Diane Thompson, David Davidson, and Pam King. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Diesel. Susie enjoyed spending time at home. She took great pride in caring for her yard and flowers, but her favorite pastime was grilling out and enjoying the holidays with family. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute or the Highland County Dog Pound.
