Christina S. Baca, 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Socorro, NM. She was born July 25, 1948 in Lava, NM to Vicente and Julianita (Montoya) Torres. Christina is preceded in death by her brother, Michael D. Torres; and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Elizar Baca of their home in Socorro; daughters: Jennifer J. Torres and Dolores J. Baca, both of Socorro; brothers: Eddie Torres and wife, Tammy of Springfield, OH; and Anthony Torres and wife, Debbie of Albuquerque, NM; sisters: Lucy Davila and husband, Joseph of San Antonio, NM; and Maria Vergara of Fairfield, CA; grandson, Mateo Torres and other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church with Father Andy Pavlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Antonio Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joseph Davila III, Andres Vergara, Vincent Torres, Michael Torres Jr., Robert Torres and Edward Torres.
