Elaine moved to San Antonio where she soon met Harry. Harry was currently enlisted in the Air Force and they later got married at Randolph Air Force base on February 1st, 1959. Not long after they were transferred to Japan. Elaine had many interesting stories about life there. After Harry's completion of service in the Air Force they moved to Matagorda. While in Matagorda Harry worked as a shrimper, while Elaine was involved in many community services as well as her involvement at the Methodist Church. They later moved to Pearland and where they were heavily involved with the 4-H program. In 1970 they bought some property in Alvin so their kids could have room to raise animals for their 4-H projects. Elaine was a 4-H leader and served on many committees at the county fair.
After her kids were grown, Elaine enrolled in college and was accepted into the nursing program, where in 1994 she earned her nursing degree, where she soon began caring for in home pediatric patients. She loved all the children she cared for. Elaine was a founding member of Grace United Methodist Church in Manvel. She was very passionate about the food pantry, with her help, the church food pantry grew to serving several hundred people a week. Elaine loved all her children and grandchildren. She was a wealth of knowledge and playful. Her grandkids loved learning about nature with her, she always had something interesting to show them. She was "Oma" to them and many others. Elaine never said a bad word to anyone, but she might give you "the thumb" if you deserved it.
Elaine was greeted in Heaven by her son Frankie, her loving husband Harry Warner; parents, Walter Doebbler and Viola Weirich Doebbler; sisters, Florence Hohenberger, Charlette Deike; brother, Ronald Doebbler.
