Christopher A. Day, 59, of Memphis, TN traded labor for his heavenly reward on August 29, 2016. A man who lived life his way leaves a legacy of love and respect with a beloved friend Cynthia Hunt, son Desmond Anthawn Day, daughter Candace Monique Day, three special children he came to love and adore Adrianne Jackson, Antonio Murrell, and Marcellus Jewell. He also leaves six siblings Beverly A. Day, Valerie (Harivle) Milan, Michael (Renetha) Hale, Sonya (Joseph) Simon, Steven (Dorothy) Hale, and Donna Hale along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday September 10, 2016 from 9 until 10:55 am and homegoing celebration will begin at 11am at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Westwood 620 Parkrose.
