Willie Mae (Massengale) Johnson, was born on November 18, 1935 and passed away at the age 86, on Friday, October 14, 2022. She was born in Muenster, TX to W. O. "Tom" and Emma Massengale. She gave her life to the Lord as young girl and was baptized in Clear Creek River in Bolivar, TX. A few months before her passing, she again expressed her love and faith for Christ and rededicated her life to the Lord. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed sharing stories of when she was a young child growing up picking cotton on her Daddy's farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Emma Massengale; siblings, Harold Massengale, Mary Abernathy, Bessie Sanders, James Massengale, John Massengale and two of her children, Bonnie Hobbs and Robert Belt.

Willie Mae is survived by her children: Debra & Terry Riley of Bonham, Ernie Belt of Boyd, Shelby & Frankie Street of Rio Vista, Danny Belt of Rio Vista, Paula and Larry McFarlin of Bonham, her sister Lorene Houchin of Bowie, 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service at Valley View Cemetery will follow at noon.
Serving as pallbearers are: Billy Comstock, Michael Darden, Eric Belt, Craig Darden, Lane York, and Kaleb Parsons.
