Jean is also survived by two daughters, Cindy Longberry and Jill (Doug) Quinlin, both of Findlay, and four grandchildren, Tyler Longberry, Taryn (Mike) Morley, Troy Quinlin and Courtney Quinlin.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Slaughterbeck.
Jean was a 1951 graduate of Findlay High School. She and Jack were high school sweethearts. They both enjoyed going to their class reunions and reminiscing with their classmates.
Jean was a very kind, caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. Her family was everything to her. She loved being busy and spending time with her friends and her family. She loved playing bingo and cards. She was in a bridge club for over 50 years with some very dear ladies. Jean and Jack also loved to travel, especially to Daytona Beach and Destin, Florida and Las Vegas.
In her earlier years, she worked at City Loan and was an office administrator for Pediatric Associates. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church (50+ years).
Jean's graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 1:30pm at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Robert Cochran officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of choice.
