He was married to Sandra Parker Myers, the love of his life, for 38 years and he had two beloved children.
Roger was a surveyor by trade, for over 30 years. After retirement, he became the caregiver to many of his family members. He was a kind, humble man with a servant's heart. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed the Lord's beautiful creations every chance he got. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved being their Pops.
