ROBERT ANTZAK OBITUARY
Antzak, Robert Mr. Robert Stanley Antzak, age 80 of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday January 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy, and his parents, Stanley and Francis. Surviving are: his children Joan (Dean) Coates and Jeff Antzak; grandchildren Melissa (Marty) Dredge and Jared Coates; great grandchildren Jack and Charlotte Dredge; and many relatives and friends. Bob was an avid outdoorsman. In his earlier years, he hunted and fished often. He went on trips out west to hunt big game in the mountains and later became a prolific fisherman on Lake Michigan. Soon, this became his biggest passion. He lived for fishing on the Great Lakes and would do it every chance he could. His favorite TV show was "Big Tuna." Right now, somewhere, he is fishing on a large open sea… where the fish are endless and where there are no limits! When Bob wasn't pursuing his passion, he was a truck driver for most of his life, working very long hours so that his family could have a better life. His side interests were sports, wildlife, outdoor adventure and traveling. Per his wish, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday January 15 at 7:00 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW, where the family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. The memorial service will be livestreamed and condolences can be sent to the family on the Arsulowicz Brothers website (www.arsulowiczbrothers.com). Interment of cremains Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Kent County.
