Mr Charles W Griffin
Holyoke, Sept 02 - Mr Charles W Griffin, 78, was found dead today in his home in 934 Dwight st. Medical examiner said death resulted in natural causes and that he had been dead for close to 3 days.
Born in Constable, NY he came to this city when a young man and had been employed by the Fisk Rubber co. He later worked at the Pal Blade co and before his retirement a year and a half ago, worked at Westover AFB exchange.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs Judson C Ferguson of Amherst, a son Rev Charles W Griffin of Willow Grove, PA; 3 brothers, Merrill of Springfield, John of Boston, and George of Worcester;2 sisters, Mrs Maud Crowder of Amsterdam NY and Mrs Grace Spencer of Ilion NY; 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Thursday, Burial in Forestdale Cemetery.
