Sonia Simone Gleason Oliphant was born June 10th 1938 to Helen C. Meyer Blitsch and Orrin E. Gleason.

She would later become the beloved daughter of Dale Blitsch when he married her mother Helen.

She was a loving daughter and Beloved mother and grandmother. She was also a compassionate woman of god. she spent her life as a pastors wife, sign language interpreter, womens ministry leader and hospice chaplin

She also spent her time being a professional clown, with her rainbow wig, large red nose and squeeky horn, She often showed up at family birthday parties and hospice events to put a smile on everyone's face.

She loved cooking and according to her great-grandson; she made the best cake-cakes (pancakes) in the world.

She had an unwavering love of her family and friends, she was not only loved by many but had an open heart and arms for anyone in need.

She is survived by her three children
Her son Jim and his wife Renee
Her daughter Shelly and her husband Larry
Her daughter Debbie and her husband Jeff.

8 grand children and 18 great grandchildren
