After a life of sharing time, talents, and getting many jobs done, Marian passed to eternal life on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the age of 89.

She was born in Racine on April 4, 1933 to the late John Paul and Agnes Gladys (Boivin) Jarosz. Marian attended St. Edward Grade School and St. Catherine High School in Racine. She married Clifford Jansen of Little Chute on September 3, 1955 at St. Edward Parish. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2008. Marian was proud to stand at Clifford's side as First Lady of the Wisconsin Knights of Columbus. He served for six years in positions of State Deputy and Master for the Knights of Columbus for many years. Marian was most grateful to Clifford's parents, Nick and Clara. They were very supportive as she worked with the challenges of a growing family. The friendship of her sister-in-law Grace was lovingly appreciated.

Marian's children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends brought great joy into her life. She enjoyed going shopping. Looking for sales and finding a good bargain made this a fun time. Her wonderful life of service was noticeable. Helping others, her commitment to daily prayer, serving funeral dinners, and having her house in order were essential for enriching her living. She committed time to being a church greeter, participation in the Mission Club, and various other organizations. Her presence will be missed. Memories of good times and celebrations shared together will be held lovingly in the hearts of those who knew her.

Marian is survived by her children: Cheryl (Rick) Hermes, Crandon; Lynn (Gary) Lambro, Franklin; Jeff (Cindy) Jansen, Seymour; Kurt (Elizabeth) Jansen, Huntersville, NC; grandchildren: Kacie Hermes, Melissa (Sal) Impellitteri, Meghan (Kevin) Brennan, Renae (Pat) Buyeske, Blake (Lauren) Jansen, and Elise Jansen; seven great grandchildren; siblings: James Jarosz, Evelyn "Molly" Babak, and Dorothy Kilsdonk; and sister-in-law, Anne Jarosz. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cliff, Marian was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Nicholas and Clara Jansen; sister: Sr. Paula Marie (Roseanna) Jarosz, O.P.; brothers: Edward, Frank (Nancy), and Peter Jarosz; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne Kilsdonk, Judy Jarosz, Robert (Virginia) Jansen, Florence (Jim) Hartjes, and Grace Hartjes.

Visitation will be held October 28, 2022 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Marian's hospice team at AseraCare Hospice and to nurse Kayla for her compassionate and tender care towards Marian and her family. Also, thank you to Care Partners in Appleton and the hard working, dedicated staff that cared for Mom.
