Tracey was the daughter of John Wesley Goode and Fannie Mae Goode she was the 2nd of 3 daughters. She was preceded in death by her baby sister, Wendy, which strengthened her bond with her sister, Barbara. She was educated in the Russell County School System and was a Class of 1988 graduate of Chavala High School in Seale, Alabama. She attended Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama where she earned her Batchelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems with the Class of 1993. While at ASU, she became a member of Alph Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Beta Pi Chapter. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama after graduation. She was employed with IntelliTrans/Roper Technologies Company for 13 and a half years.
She joined Mt Arrie Missionary Baptist Church in Hatchecubbee, Alabama at a young age. She later joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Pratt City, Alabama where she was a member of the Sanctuary Choir and the Women & Singles Ministry. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, she joined Berean Christian Church where she served on the Usher Board. She later moved back to Birmingham, Alabama and joined Trinity CME Church Uptown where she served on the Media Ministry.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Wendy F. Goode.
