GONZALES, Texas - Flora De Leon Martinez, 79, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022. Flora was born December 19, 1942 in Gonzales to Eusebio and Micaela Rivera De Leon. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Flora was raised in Gonzales and graduated from Gonzales High School before graduating from Cosmetology School. She worked as a beautician in Gonzales and in Seguin. Flora was dedicated to her faith, and she loved to sit and endlessly listen to music. Flora was a quiet and private person, who enjoyed her extended family.
Flora is survived by her sister-in-law, Rose De Leon of San Marcos and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
The family will receive friends from 9 am to 10 am Friday, October 14, 2022 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 am. Interment will be held at a later date in St. James Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Student Center, 100 Concho Street, San Marcos, TX 78666.
