GREENSBORO - Denise D. Brady, 56, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Beacon Place.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 4, at Westover Church with Rev. Don Miller and Pastor Bob Voorhees officiating.
Denise was born in W. Springfield, Massachusetts, on December 3, 1952. She spent her early childhood in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and moved to Greensboro with her family in 1966. She graduated from Ben L. Smith High School and attended Greensboro College. She was employed with Smith, Moore and Leatherwood, LLP. Denise attended Westover Church.
Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Guy Dolinger.
Surviving are her loving husband, Gene Brady; sons, Kevin Brady and wife, Erin, of Apollo Beach, Fla., and Cameron Brady and wife, Melissa, of Archdale, N.C.; brothers, Tom Dolinger and wife, Becky, of Greensboro, N.C., Brian Dolinger and wife, Helene, of Hixon, Tenn., and Randy Dolinger of Ashland, Ore., and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. on Sunday evening at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the support group at Westover Church, "When God and Cancer Meet", and to Hospice and the staff at Beacon Place. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Gustav Magrinat and the staff at the Regional Cancer Center.
