Dr. Cole Dodson, age 45, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Bill Franklin Center, 13152 State Highway 206, Coleman, Texas. There will be a private family interment. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman, Texas.

Eli Cole Dodson was born January 13, 1977 in Coleman, Texas, the son of Henry Dodson and Margie Fuller Dodson. He grew up in Coleman where he attended school, graduating in the Class of 1995. He graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor in Animal Science in 1999. He graduated in 2003 from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Dodson practiced at North Bryan Veterinary Clinic and eventually purchased the practice in 2006. He sold the practice in 2016 and continued to practice veterinary medicine in the Bryan/College Station/ Hempstead area for three more years. In 2019 he moved to Stephenville where he was affiliated with the Ark Veterinary Clinic where he worked on both large and small animals and surgery.

On February 14, 2015 he married Cyndy Maillet in Bryan. Cole enjoyed working outdoors and was a great help to his parents with different projects. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Cyndy Dodson of Stephenville; his parents, Henry and Margie Dodson of Coleman; his sister, Lezlie Dodson of Saginaw; three children, Courtney and husband Bobby Waltman, Cally and husband Matt Foos and Coleton and wife Kailyn Jackson; granddaughter, Stephanie Johnson.
