Sharon Joyce Haga, 76, of Ada, Michigan, was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior October 11, 2022. She peacefully entered into eternal rest at home surrounded by family. Sharon was reunited in her heavenly home with her father and mother, Richard and Adrianna DeRidder (Jaarda); her brother, Steve DeRidder; along with her two beautiful daughters, Karin VanderBerg (Haga) and Tanya Hawkins (Haga).
In life, Sharon was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She also lived a life of service as a nurse at Pine Rest, a childcare provider, and an animal lover caring for many of God's creatures great and small. She was also an active participant in the Ada Christian Reformed Church community. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her many pets throughout the years, and trips to Boyne with her close family.
Her husband of 56 years, George Haga; her grandchildren, Shanice Jones (Thomas) and husband Adam, Makenzie Givens, Jacob and Preston Hawkins; numerous other family members, including her siblings David DeRidder, Mary White (DeRidder) and Judy Flietstra (DeRidder; and friends carry on her loving memory and legacy.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, at Ada Christian Reformed Church, 7152 Bradfield Ave. SE, Ada, MI 49301. The family will greet friends and relatives at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service. Interment Ada Cemetery.
