Mrs. Otto (Ruth) Rosenthal, 63, of 218 Lord St., Carpentersville, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Chicago Aug 9, 1902, she was a lifelong resident of Carpentersville. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Joan Wienke) and Mrs. Herman (Mary) Kamp, both of Carpentersville; three sons, Martin of Shannon Ill., Franklin of Elgin and Emil at home; six sisters: Mrs. Early Harmon of Bellflower, Callifornia, Mrs. Raymond Hinch of Wauconda, Mrs. Virgil Morris of Elgin, Mrs. Martin Lange of Lansing, Mrs. George Veenstra of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs Chester Gustafson of Elgin; three brothers. George Abbott of Elgin, James of Danville and Charles of Whiting, Ind.; and 11 grand-children. Her parents, her husband, and a son Fred, who lost his life in the Korean Conflict, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:30 Monday from the Miller Funeral Home, Dundee, the Rev. John Klueter officiating. Burial will be in Lake Street Memorial Park, Elgin. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
